TRIP TO NORTH CAROLINA
August 2008
At the conclusion of "The Drive for 65" program, a group of 15 Middletown student-athletes and four coaches took a three-day trip to North Carolina. The players spent two nights at the Hampton Inn in Chapel Hill, N.C. and were treated to behind-the scenes tours of the men's basketball facilities at Duke University, the University of North Carolina, and North Carolina State University. Four vans filled with coaches and players left the MHS parking lot at noon on Thursday, August 7, and returned home at 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 9. Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Frederick was kind enough to donate the use of the vans for the trip.
