MHS Basketball

At the conclusion of 2011 summer workout program, a group of 13 Middletown student-athletes and three coaches took a three-day trip to North Carolina. The players spent two nights at the Hampton Inn in Chapel Hill, N.C. and were treated to behind-the-scenes tours of the men's basketball facilities at Duke University and the University of North Carolina. Several of the young men even had the chance to meet UNC Coach Roy Williams. Two 15-passenger vans filled with coaches and players left the MHS parking lot at noon on Thursday, August 4, and returned home at 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 6. Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Frederick was kind enough to donate the use of the vans for the trip.
